I have a Samsung S25 with the ability to use an eSIM but I've never used this and so don't know how it works and need some help and understanding of all this, please. We have Cricket as a provider. Here is the situation:

I have my S25 which I'm currently using for my DoorDash delivery work with my current phone number which I've had for many years and want to keep. I purchased & put a Cricket SIM card to put in an old Motorola phone so I can take another phone with me for various reasons that really don't matter.

I would like to try using the eSIM for the DoorDash App when I'm working. The old phone is just wayyyyyy too slowwwww for this job.

Is there a way to use the physical SIM card *number* or do something to put it on my main Samsung phone as an eSIM and leaving the physical SIM in the old phone? Would it still work as the physical SIM in my old phone simultaneously? Or would I have to manually swap out the sim cards in my main phone every day?

Thank you!
Deb

It sounds like you are asking can you use the same number for both phones? If that is what you are asking than no you cant. Not at the same time. You can forward that number to your Samsung phone if you have that setup with a line. If you want to swap the number between the 2 phones, you can do that but it is more work than its really worth.

If you are not locked into a carrier I recommend USmobile. They use all big 3 cell towers and the cost is cheap. I bought a year of unlimited for 225 that's under 19 a month.

Hmmm, forwarding ... didn't think of that. I will give that a try. THANK YOU! Yes, my Samsung is my regular phone, daily use. I take the 2nd phone so I have something to do when it's not busy. I know I can use my Samsung instead of a 2nd phone but I'd rather not. Thanks for the tip on USmobile.
