Hello everyone.
I was wondering if anyone else uses these with their phones? For some reason I can't transfer info from the phones memory to it without the files/ pictures becoming corrupt. It's crazy.

Then I figured out some of the old vids I had from my first Note to the 4th won't play without downloading some type of codec. So now I have to find a converter to use.

Interesting. i could not replicate this issue with two different drives. I tried one with an adapter to 64gig usb stick and another native usbc with audio, film and image files an mpeg, m4v, jpg, mp3 dng, png and mov avi to and from my lap top and all were readable but I have a few players installed.

I have an old Kingston thumb drive, 32 gb, that I use with an adaptor, to connect to phone and then to PC. Easier to transfer files some times, especially if only a few, that way. It worked with Pixel, with Note 7 and it's worked with Note 8.
