Using Facinate as an AP after rooting

So I roted my Facinate to Powerwashed GB and when I go to use it as an AP I can't get connected. Do I still need to pay verizon the extra AP fee (I already have data)?

Are you using the included tether in the settings menu?

I think you'd need to use a 3rd party app such as Barnacle Wifi Tether.

I'm not certain if VZW won't be able to tell you are tethering and warn/charge you, however.
