using front facing camera for security

I was just wondering with all the brilliant minds in the this forum, is it possible to make some type of program that if my phone ever gets stolen, where I could activate the front facing camera and see who has my phone? Maybe have it set up where it will use gps or the towers to give a approximate place to look for it.

what about using facial recognition to UNLOCK the phone? when YOU look at the phone and press a key it unclocks?

I know Prey does this on their desktop version. They do have an Android client available, but it doesn't look like it has control over the camera. Hopefully that will be coming in a future version.

I know people use their iSight cameras on their macbooks for this very purpose for years now... i don't see why this couldn't be an Android app...
