Using Galaxy SM-G900A in the UK?

I recently previously owned the Korean version of the Galaxy S5, i.e the SM-G906S. Had problems with the screen and camera and just couldn't get it repaired here in the UK because most repair shops claimed they couldn't get the specific screen and camera for the phone.
So I decided to downgrade a bit to the UK version and ordered a used Galaxy S5 from Ebay and when it turned up realised it was the G900A i.e the American version.
I don't mind keeping it but I'm worried that if it has any issues such as with the screen, does it have it's own specific screen etc, or does it share universal parts with the European version G900F? I don't want to be stuck again with a phone that can't be repaired in the UK.

Thanks in advance

It shares parts - so does the S5. (But you had an S5 Prime, not an S5 - different phones. It sounds as if most repair shops there can't tell the difference.)

What it doesn't share, though, is frequencies. Depending on your carrier, you may or may not get 4G. And it may still be locked to AT&T SIMs.

My unlocked SM-G900A, used on AT&T when stateside, works fine on EE in the UK...with 4Glte in cities and some other places and tethering works as well.

Yeah, but my Galaxy S5 prime worked well until it crashed, and then no-one could fix it. Sounds like I might have the same issues with the American one. Thanks guys, I won't risk it, and will return the SM-G900A.
