Question...

The only reason that I never used Google Photos auto sync is That I take dozens and dozens of random photos each day. Sometimes 10 shots of the same item to see which looks the best.

I figured that it was a waste to have of that upload to my Google photos.... Like a waste of space.

Please help convince me or teach me a trick to be able to use it, because I'd honestly like to. It would keep my phone much cleaner

Thanks!

Thabks!

I think it doesn't make sense to keep all those multiples on your device. You have unlimited storage on Google Photos, so just reverse your thinking.

also, with top shot now, you probably don't have to take 10 pictures of the same thing. the phone does it for you

One reason I started using Google photos was to always have my pics backed up just in case I had to reset my phone. Which had happened once so far.

I mean, why not use it? Google photos is also very good at sorting stuff. The other thing you can do is set it to only backup on WiFi which is what I do. Then you have time to go through and clean them up first because I generally only turn on WiFi when I go to bed or if I need to access something on my home network.

^This. Plus it's easier to view, sort through, organize and purge the non-keepers in Google Photos on a computer.
