Using Google Play with a Windows Phone

Soon, I will be getting a Nokia Lumia 520 Windows 8 Phone but I am cautious of what apps I am able to download. I currently have an Android with a few essential apps from the Play Store that I would like on my Windows Phone. But, is there a possibility to download Apps from Google Play Store using a Windows Phone because I fear there won't be any precise Apps on the Windows marketplace?
