Using new/old watch band- Like it!

I really like the leather watch band that came with the Zen but I found it getting discolored due to sweating when walking/running. Trying to get steps recorded with the leather band just wasn't practical. So, I went through my drawer and found an old sports velcro band that I use to use on a watch. Put it on the Zen and I'm good to go! I really like the larger band with the Zen!

AHHH... that watch band and the watch face kinda clash.

You should see if you can make a custom face where it looks like the red and yellow color bands extend right across the screen.

LOL--to be fair, he's only using this band when exercising.

Yeah it clashed! Old band so I bought a new all black one off of Amazon. Good to go now. I actually use "The Band" full-time now. If I had to put on a suit I might put the original band back on. Luckily I rarely have to suit up!

I have a nylon band that the strap runs under the body of my Zen and quickly discovered heart rate measuring was impaired. I have to bend my wrist so my arm touches the bottom/sides of the watch while my right hand fingers touch the top of the watch. I didn't realize the bottom was needed to complete the circuit.

I didn't know that! Given how inconsistent the HRM is on the Zen I never use it.
