Using none factory loaded ringtone?

So the small list of factory loaded ringtones are pretty horrible. I downloaded a few but cant seem to figure out how to set as the ringtone. Anyone else? On a side note, if there was one thing I could improve about the Pixel it would be the speaker volume. It could certainly be louder.

I think you'd have to move them into the ringtones folder. I get mine from Zedge and they show up in the ringtones choices.

The ring tones supplied with the phone are much quieter then the ones I downloaded from Zedge

You can download the app "Ringtone Maker", which allows you to take any music file stored on your phone, cut it to choose what part of the song you want, and then set it as your ringtone:
