Anyone figure out how to use this to make / receive calls without getting the horrible echo???
Everyone hears themself... Oh how I miss my Ole' DX2. Was perfect in the car-dock.

I was having the echo problems as well, but I got the iBolt dock yesterday and so far the echo hasn't happened. Hopefully it will stay that way. I also was getting some audio hiss using my aux and car charger that is now gone with the iBolt.

Your iBolt works making and receiving calls?
Mine does not; works great with music and voice commands but the minute I try to make or receive a call it sends the sound through the phone speaker.
I called iBolt and they were not able to confirm whether the iBolt will work with phone calls (go figure)?? Yet on their S3 video they clearly show someone making and receiving calls but the video ends and does not actually show the person talking or hearing the person on the other end.
Someone is supposed to call me back.

My iBolt sends the sound through the phone speaker as well. However, since using the phone connected through the iBolt, it has eliminated the echo sound for the people I'm talking to.

Oh, so you are essentially using the stock speaker phone function.
That works fine for me too, with or without the iBolt plugged in.

After much research it appears that the iBolt/S3 was never intended to be used through the speaker system of a vehicle.
I went back and took a closer look at their iBolt/S3 video and it appears that they suggest or imply that the phone call is routed through the car speakers but upon closer inspection you can see the speaker phone icon lights up on the phone when the call is placed or received.
basically it becomes an expensive phone holder while you are using the stock speaker phone function. A piece of Velcro would work just as well for those a little more fiscally minded.

I know this has been posted in another thread, but if you do purchase a Bluetooth adaptor that goes through the aux cable, is the sound quality worse? This whole Bluetooth not working when headphones are plugged in is killing my enjoyment of the S3.

Do you have a problem with the ibolt when using the phones video camea displaying the video upside down? I have the ibolt and it seems to work fine for apps like GPS but if I turn on the video camera while driving the movie is displayed upside down. The only way I can get it to play right side up is, yup you guessed it, turn the dock upside down. Of course now the video is rightside up, but the GPS app is upside down.
