Using the G4 on a sticky pad (car)?

Anyone is using his G4 on a sticky pad?
If yes with the plastic back or leather one?

although the iphone 4 and 5 are pretty light weight, curious to see if it would hold a G4

Well I use it with my M9 which is the same weight as the G4 and the M9 stick on it like super glue!
It was the same with M7 and M8 but not the S6 due to the slippery back glass.

I'd be a little more concerned about the curved back, vs the weight. With the back being curved, you lose surface area against the sticky pad.

The M9 is also curved
The G4 being wider it will have more surface than M9 to stick to, and don't forget the M9 has protruding camera

Oops, I'm sorry, I didn't realize the M9 was curved. Thanks. My concern still kinda stands, I suppose, but it's good to know there's precedent!
