Hi all,

since the Xperia Z has the 1920 x 1080 resolution (almost as much as my TV), can we use it as a tablet to run tablet apps?

I thought that the bigger screen is an advantage. But actually, everything on it is just bigger, and i end up seeing less on it than on my iphone. I saw a bigger part of my email on a blackberry 9900 than i am seeing now with the smallest font setting.

So, can the Xperia Z run tablet apps?

It depends on the app. If you use the Xperia to go to Play, the apps will be filtered to what you can download that are device compatible. If you were to look at 'Application X' on a PC and want to install it, there would be a box below the app icon that states if the app is compatible with any of your devices.

Thank you Golfdriver97.

This was not the reply I was looking for. Using the Xperia Z to go to Play, would always filter apps for smartphones instead of tablets.

The question was referring to a trick, which could bypass this filter and use the Xperia Z as a tablet with tablet apps.

Thanks again!
