Also if you having trouble copying things over, I suggest trying Teracopy. I use this, maybe you should try it out.

In twrp, there is a button called "install." it takes you to your SD card. You should of already put the supersu.zip inside you phone. Navigate to the zip and flash it.

i got it so far as tampereed unlocked but still s-on. am i done? i would like some help lol

i just redownloaded the zip and put in the minimal folder. well, i got as far as tampered and unlocked. but still says s-on. that last step didnt work. can you plz help me?

You got the bootloader unlocked? Good now flash a recovery. Then root. Then do s off.

im sorry. i did all the steps and line commands in the soff section. when i rebooted bootloader it still said s on

Go over it again. When you flash the one X.zip copy and paste what you get in the command prompt so I can see if there is anything wrong.
