Connect it to a wall charger. Does the charging light come up?

Nope. When I replaced the screen on it at Christmas, it did something similar, but finally booted up.

Go to a bright room with lots of light, or just shine a bright light on the phone. Then press power+vol down. Hold and see if the lights stop flashing.

You can use my toolkit. Just skip Motochopper. Don't flash the recoveries or anything else. You can just use it to unlock for now. Remember unlocking your bootloader will wipe everything and that it will void your warranty.

Yep that worked. Now my daughter wants heres rooted...lol. I just unlocked hers also. She really likes the viper rom i have now..lol

Any thoughts on why I cannot flash the official twrp? I'm stuck on modified for kit Kat and I cannot flash 4.2.2 or 4.3 Roms. I think its cause of the Linux permissions required for 4.4.2?...dumbfounded here
