I had drops also, I installed the beastmode kernel and it took car of that!

KitKat roms r not compatible with that kernel. As far as I know the only kernel working with KitKat is the Torched kernel. I was running viper XL, an had to flash the beast as well. It resolved my issue to....

As for your signal drops, I have code fire with the stock kernel and have good bars with LTE. I don't know what it may be. Let me think for a bit.

Hmm. Is Data working? Look at the bars when you try to make a call. Do they increase?

Yes the bars increase. If i try to make a call when the bar is totally grey they do increase. If i make a call when i have a couple bars they disappear, then reappear.

yes it is. flashed P.A., pretty sweet if i may say so myself! gonna run it for a few days to check out the battery without kernel. even if its reasonable im still gonna flash torched just to c if the battery is any better. so torched is the only kernel for 4.4 huh? any develops in the works?
