Explanation: This recovery has something called "se-linux" enabled which allows you to flash 4.4 roms.

My toolkit can flash this recovery for you. And yes, you can flash ROMs that are older.

I Flashed that reovery But It still says 2.6.3.0....Shouldnt it say 2.6.3.0.4.4

Nope. The recovery looks exactly the same. You'll know it works if a 4.4 rom flashes successfully.

It worked..Iam using CodefireX 4.4.2........... But why when using Beastmode It stuck in The load screen...So Iam Using ElementalX...?

Also...What RUU can I run without losing root.....And then do I need to run a Kernel with it and which one...

I wanna play around on this Old HTC One X

Why did you flash beastmode? Don't go flashing elementalx either. THOSE KERNELS ARE ONLY FOR SENSE ROMS. Also, remember to wipe before flashing a ROM.

No, you are no running elementalX. CodefireX is just the name of the ROM.

I don't understand your part about the RUU. Why would you need to run a RUU?

Another Question Wizzrah.....Iam Seeing some ROMs say that They Com with a Stock Kernel...HERE IS what the ROM advertises....Quote UnQuote

"This ROM includes a brand new theme, some good mods and stock kernel to keep it stable at all costs. "

Does this Mean the Kernel is Inside the ROM and you DONT Need to Flash a Kernel separately..?

They're just custom kernels. They allow you you to overclock and underclock. On stock ROMs, you can can underclock with root access, but not overclock.

the only working kernel as of now for kitkat roms is the torched kernel... if u dont have an account u may have to create one to view.
heres the link, an b sure to download one compatible with kitkat. it tells u if its compatible.

hey Wizz... i still have the boot.img for viper xl. how can i change it to the stock one? im not having a problem flashing roms or kernels, boot animation is working great. im running Paranoid Android but i still have the viper xl boot.img. maybe im picky but its kinda aggravating! is their any app that will allow me to flash stock img?

Look inside the paranoid android zip. Take that boot.img. Use the toolkit to flash the boot.img. Did you ever get it to work?
