You can use my toolkit to install the recovery. Just choose the "install your own recovery" option.

After that, you don't.

You just drag the ROM into your phone and flash in recovery.

Yes, that is the ROM. But if you are going to flash that ROM, don't flash the kernel. That kernel is only for sense 5 ROMs.

Yes that is the kernel.

Yes you flash the recovery and then the ROM. Make sure you keep a backup and that you wipe/factory reset in recovery before you flash the ROM.

Yes that is 4.4.2 KitKat.

What do you mean backwards compatible?

Turn debugging off and on. Make sure you are using USB 2.0 port.

Yep. And weak wireless too.
I downloaded what I think is the factory ROM at HTC DEV website. What happens if I flash that back on my phone? Will I lose root and s-off? And how do you do that. I'm just not finding any Rom I care for.
I can't seem to keep 4g, I drop down to E signal. I think I wanna go to the factory Rom...or at least know how to.

If you are talking about the RUU then you will brick your phone. Don't flash it. How bout a 4.1.1 rom?

I haven't found any 4.1.1 Rom. I'm was hoping to make it look factory again, I liked the look of it. My signal is constantly bouncing from 3g to H...lol everyone here at work has 4g lte.

What's your thoughts?

I'll get you a 4.1.1 ROM. I get LTE with an average 3/4 bars. I have had no problems.
