V CAST Media Manager - how to completely disable ?

After my phone restarts, so does VCast Media Manager. UGH!

I think I got lucky because I haven't had any issues with it trying to sync. Even though under accounts&sync it has the green light on for Vcast. I think maybe its because I've never signed up for Vcast stuff before? That would definitely force me into rooting.

getting rid of VCast was one of the greatest rewards of rooting and then freezing crap with Titanium Backup

For those of you using Windows 7, I've found how to disable the V-Cast media manager start-up application. Go to the Start menu, and type "msconfig" in the search box. Click the "Startup" tab, and then sort the list by name. Scroll until you find "VMM Mode Selection" and then uncheck this entry. When prompted to restart your computer, do this, and V-Cast Media Manager should be gone!
