V20 an underrated phone?

I have yet to see anyone with a V20. In trains or public places, everyone has either an iPhone 5, 6, or 7 or Samsung Note 4, 5 or S7 Edge. At tech conferences, most have Google Nexus 5X and 6P. Where's all the LG V20 owners at??

Not really underrated by anymeans, the fanbase is very vocal about how awesome it is - it's just a very niche product and LG is a very small player in the modern marketshare battle. Apple and Samsung are combined at almost 33% of smartphone sales, followed by Huawei, Oppo and Vivo who combine for the next 22%. That's over half the market among those 5 players and everyone not on that list is at 5% or less market-share (LG, HTC, Google, Sony, OnePlus, Blu, Nextbit, Nokia, BlackBerry, Asus, etc, etc) and combined they represent about 40-45% of the market. Long story short, for every LG phone you see, you should expect to see 6-10 Samsung phones and 4-6 iPhones - and that's all LG phones, so you should see more G4's than G5's and more V10's than V20's because they've been on sale longer, are cheaper, etc.

I've seen quite a few people with it. At least 5 people I work with rock V20s. I was at an Excision concert a few weeks ago here in Atlanta and I saw two in the crowd with this phone

I have not seen a V20 in the wild here in NYC at all. First time I saw one in person was last week when I purchased mine actually! All is see is iphones with cracked screens EVERYWHERE!! Its an epidemic, lol! Predominately used by Caucasian and Asian professionals.

I've only seen two other ones in San Diego... my boss and my friend who just moved to Florida.. He says he sees quite a few there.

Nice breakdown.... Didn't realize Huawei, Oppo and Vivo outsell so many of the others but I guess it makes sense on a global scale.

A lot of people are missing out on a great phone! Though the V20 isn't perfect, it's comes very close for me. Has almost everything I need in a phone.

Any phone that isn't Samsung or Apple will be underrated in the market.

I've only seen it once. Also have only knowingly seen a V10 once. Ironically mother time in the hands of older ladies. Wasn't necessarily the type of people I'd think would get these devices.

So how does your "boss" like the phone? Did you get a pay increase for your recommendation? LOL!
