V20 Camera looking good

I wonder if the lens cover was dirty, which is a common issue with phones. They easily build up oils and such from everyday use that sometimes need to be wiped off. I'll bet the store displays are never cleaned unless the customer thinks to wipe it off before testing.

Yeah definitely keep the lens clean because I thought something was wrong with my camera until i cleaned it.

now how about a picture of fine print taken indoors without a flash. outdoors on a cloudy day is brighter than almost any indoor environment away from windows

Over 7,000 pictures in one of my One Drive folders and none of fine print. I tried.

Edit: oh wait, forgot about this one

I actually tried this in the ATT store demo V20 today and it seemed fine with indoor store lighting.

I don't want some old picture. Take a picture of medicine directions on a tube or some other fine print indoors with your v20 indoors with incandescent light in the room. Grainy? Blurry?

That picture of the white samsung package is not readable for example

Youve taken 7000 pics with v20?

I edited and added a pic. No lights, nearest window about 20 feet away, blinds closed.

White part with black print is not legible
Well it's very legible in full resolution and since that was auto and its not in the middle of the picture, the focus wasn't on that text.

Also, picture posting on the forum is highly compressed.

I just saved the image I uploaded and it was 80KB. The original image is 6.22MB. Severe loss of detail? Yeah, I think so.
Well it looked similar to what I got in the store. Sometimes sections were clear and readable but if I enlarged at all I saw blur. One suggestion, that some sort of plastic cover over the lens may have ruined the pics is possible but they look very similar to pics taken with my note 3. I don't have very steady hands either. The only phone cam I did well with was note 7 and s7e but I hate the curved screen distortion.

I'm not sure how a highly compressed image can look similar to full resolution.

When I zoom in on the original image, I can read the smaller print at the bottom of that white page and like I said, it wasn't even the area of focus.

I'm telling u what I saw in the store.

Went for a hike since we finally got a little sun. I think I need RaRa to give me a crash course in manual controls, but I'm liking this camera so far!
