V20: Doomed to fail?

I just want a release date for T-Mobile...I am hoping that it's $650 maximum. The rumors for the V10 were how much it was going to cost and T-Mobile sold it for $600. I went from the V10 to the s7e, but have been waiting for months for the V20 to come out. How we don't even have a Pre-Order date yet is infuriating. Wasn't there a leak about T-Mobile opening their pre-orders on like the 14th and being released on the 23rd or something? I hope that is correct

I was merely comparing the price, nothing more.

Well, then, let's compare the price of an apple--small 'a'--to an LG V20.

Clearly, the apple is a better value, because it's cheaper, right? I can get an apple for 29 cents. Shoot, a buck at the convenience store/gas station. Nowhere near $650 or $800.

I mean, as long as we're comparing things based on price alone and not actual features.

OK, so you want phone comparisons? I can get you a slab smartphone for $20. Go.

Please tell me, how can you compare two things on price alone--"nothing more"--and not at all what the things actually do for the money? Color me confused.

16GB iPhone vs 64GB LG with a card slot??? You have to compare the 256GB iPhone to even begin to have a valid comparison. Otherwise, it's just phones and apples.

Every carrier has a different but similar policy.

And for the sake of this thread, people here are referring to unlocked phones with no carrier bloatware. A SIM-unlocked AT&T phone would still have AT&T's bloatware.

As the Blackberry Priv showed, you can sell it unlocked and then add the carrier-specific stuff when the SIM card is inserted.

VERY nice, frankly. Insert the T-Mo SIM, and watch mobile hotspot and visual voicemail apps appear.
