Tried the V60 on sprint and it really is on the Tmobile network. I have 6 sprint phones and all have a signal at my house but the V60 and the replacement I tried does nothing but roam all day. My V30 signal is 94dbm 4asu while the V60 is 118dbm at 32asu, and when it constantly roams. It comes up AT&T. If Tmobile is good in your area then fine but were I live Tmobile is absolutly horrible and doesn't even work throughout my town. Returned the first one and still the same problems with the replacement so just be aware.

So to clarify its not a phone issue its a location issue aka Tmo is not great where you live. Got it.

We've been on Sprint for 15 years. Always had good coverage as well. Got the V60 and my understanding is it uses both the Sprint and TMobile networks simultaneously. Not sure how to determine this. My V60 is always on 5G everywhere I go so I'm happy. At home 5G is a bit weak but I'm on WiFi at home.

It wont use both networks simultaneously.
It will work with one or the other but not both at the same time.
You can get an app like SignalCheck Pro and that will tell you what tower and who its registered to.
Im on a 700mhz tower registered to TMO on Band 12 (provider is 310360 = Tmobile)
Since the merger, on the back end Tmobile has updated Sprint phones to allow access to Mobile network.
But i dont think Tmo phones will use Sprints network.
At least my V60 Tmoible phone has yet to register on a Sprint tower.

Wifi would help, but I use satellite internet where I'm at so Wifi calling is almost impossible. If any of the kids are on it then forget it. Buying a Note 10 still on Sprint. Maybe I'll be able to use my old sprint sim card.

I think in that users case Sprint had better coverage and when the merger took place they are now directing sprint phones to tmo network which is causing that user to have poorer signal. So not necessarily a phone issue as a coverage issue.

Well Sprint is gone completely in Tallahassee. All stores are converted to Tmobile and you can only sign up for Tmobile service. Towers have not been switched yet so as long as I keep my old phone I'm good. Yes Tmobile has terrible coverage here. No guaranty they will switch the sprint towers to Tmobile anytime soon. I will say the V60 held up pretty good though. I knew I threw it 3 to 4 times (with a case) because my phone would just drop the call because of the signal.
