Vacation directory on my phone

I am leaving next week for a 10 day vacation. During those 10 days, I want all cell phone pictures to go into a special directory. Then I can back that directory up while I am on vacation. I know I can do this manually, after the fact. But I want to check if I can get my photos into a directory while on vacation. Thanks.

Create the directory. Open the camera app, go to settings, and see if you can set the destination for pictures. (If you can't, download a camera app that can - most can.)

Welcome to Android Central! Is Google Photos auto-backup not an option, or not preferred?

When we travel we use Amazon Photo. We are Prime members and it is free and automatically uploads the pic's.
