Variable Speed Video

Definitely one of the cooler features of the One, but how much use will it get? When you record in slow-motion mode, the video is of a significantly lower resolution. The end of the video scenario is a bit deceptive because the final result doesn't appear to have been shot with The One since its of such a high resolution.

BTW, I'd love to discover that I'm wrong and that there is a way with the stock app to record in the highest resolution AND slow motion simultaneously.

I agree, but I don't think it's possible at the moment. I just did this with my One and S4 and both loose video quality. But honestly, it's not that huge of a difference and it's pretty cool.
