Verbose vs. Terse Modes?

The AA commercial with the kids talking to their grandma seems to indicate that there is a "terse" mode to AA that I don't have in my 2016 Volt. In my car, AA is very verbose, using lots of words to confirm things.

Is there a way to switch to "terse/simplified/expert" mode in AA?

glorified for tv to make it an easier sell, Google sets what it does and how it acts, I don't think it differs from one manufacturer to the next, my Pioneer 8100nex isn't that way either, and I see no setting to change to enable that

I agree with the poster above, it looks like they shortened it for time and to make it look more appealing. No voice commands work that fast.
