Verizon 7.1 update issue

I have a Nexus 6p on verizon...
Why does the new 7.1 say except Verizon ?
Also will we ever receive it or is this a block from Verizon to get a person to buy a Pixel ?
I thought by the phone is not branded the update is coming from Google .

Most likely adb sideload of the OTA or he/she flashed the factory image to the phone.

I did a full Install everything seemed to be good except I noticed broken phone conversations not lost just broken
I called Verizon had them push new prl. Seems OK but I will wait and see.

I am leaning that Verizon doesn't like the fact the 6P is almost identical to the Pixel XL for a lot less money. And the 6P does not have all the Verizon backdoor software aka bloat.

When you say broken, do you mean while talking to someone on the phone?

As a side note I was on the beta program it would not push 711. I opted out it pushed 7.0 as the stable release. ??? And would not show any update available.

Yes like no sound then it would come back
