(Verizon) Advice on OTA update 10/25/2013

So I have my VZW galaxy S4 rooted. Yesterday my phone downloaded the OTA update (I don't know what OTA it was). I obviously want to skip this update to keep root. I am on Build Number JDQ39.I545VRUAME7. I tried to freeze FWUpgrade.apk and SDM.apk via Titanium Backup, but I couldn't find them in the TiBu Backup/Restore screen. I was looking for this because of this thread here. I am running the stock rom.

Has anyone seen this before? I know that I want to skip all OTA updates, but I wonder if that means that I will loose out on all the latest and greatest features as updates occur. Or will some helpful developer come along with the contents of the this and future OTA's, but in a package that will not break root? Would these be considered custom ROM's? I have never messed with custom ROM's, I just root for a few apps that use the root permission.

On a side note, if only the developers of LBE Privacy Guard to work on the S4, that would be great.

Thank you all.

Still no joy. It didn't find it.

Not sure if you are using the paid version or not.
I have the paid version of Titanium Backup.
But in the startup screen (Backup/Restore) you need to select -> Click to edit filters.
Then in the box to the right at the top type FW and you should see it match as you type.

If that doesn't work, hmm….
You might also try -> ROM Toolbox Lite and use the app manager to freeze apps.

I am using the paid version of Titanium Backup as well.

I found SDM 1.0, and I can freeze that. That is different from when I originally posted the thread, but still no luck with the FWUpdate.apk. Should I go ahead and Freeze SDM 1.0?

I will also try ROM toolbox lite.

I froze just the SDM.APK and it seems to have worked.

Anyone have any advice on the second part of my original post?

Safestrap is about as close as you can get with the phone locked down the way it is.
MDK has a loki exploit that allows ROMs in the traditional sense.
