Right now Im loving Jelly Bean on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus.

This phone single handedly kept me from abandoning Verizon. The prospect of finally having a Nexus device on the best carrier with the largest LTE footprint is an awesome combo.

But despite the greatness of all that, and as much as Im loving my phone now...what about when the new Nexus device arrives???

I cant see Verizon getting another one. Im reasonably sure the sales for it werent nearly as many as the Razr or Maxx.

What would be the incentive?

Im absolutely positive that i dont want any device other than a Nexus. Hardware be DAMNED!

I want a phone that has OK to good hardware, but that has software that blows peoples minds!

Those of you on Verizon...

Would you consider leaving just for the next Nexus?

I would not leave for a phone. I think verizon will get another nexus. I mean they did not get the sgs2 but got the sgs2 and yeah some can say the nexus was essentially a sgs2 but it really wasnt. I think with how well android is doing and how the carriers came out and said they want to get people to phones other than iphones due to the price they have to pay I could see them getting the next nexus, maybe not right away but most likely will get it.

I don't know if a nexus phone is going to be nearly as important to me after my Nexus 7 gets here. I only really need 1 nexus device. After I received my G-nex the life of my TF-101 got alot brighter since it is np to sideload the apps that were missing from it's market. A nexus will always be in my top 3 choices for phone nonetheless but I don't see myself bouncing carriers for a device.

I think they will... Hell, #io2012 may have boosted Verizon's nexus sales.... or maybe just Google's

Unlike many people, I'm not so impatient that I have to have every single new phone that comes out. I am perfectly fine waiting out my contract and getting whatever the next Nexus is that I'm eligible for when I'm ready to upgrade. Maybe that's the next Nexus. Maybe that's the Nexus after the next Nexus.

Also unlike a lot of people, I don't think I'm in any position to say whether or not Verizon will continue getting Nexus devices. Our vantage points as customers are not nearly the same as those who are decision makers at Google and Verizon and whoever else, and I'm sure there are plenty of factors as to why or why not carriers carry certain devices.

Verizon isn't stupid they know Samsung is the number one android phone manufacturer. They will continue to play ball with them.

I don't care what kind of phone you use, that's not how I judge someone's worth or intelligence. Sent using tapatalk 2.

Well it's going to be interesting to see what Verizon will have available with HTC Moto and Sammy all getting their Android phones banned. Your gonna be left with iPhone and whatever ends up coming out for WP.

I'm sold on the GNEX for the long term. Its expandability is awesome.... Verizon not so awesome especially since they're screwing with my unlimited data plan. Love to GNEX...VZW ...K.M.A.

I would leave, verizon sucks....how many times have I heard all curcuts are busy? A ton....

The next Nexus phone better come out on Verizon. I love the current Nexus phone but I know I will want the next one too! :p

I really need to stick with Verizon for the next 4-5 years, after that...it's on!
I love the GNex, and if it's not available, I'll look for the best hardware I can get, then flash...after this phone, I need pure Android...

I mean. Verizon didn't really market the phone. No one did. They marketed ICS and Google plus. There wasn't any commercials like the s3 or galaxy note. I never see any commercials, adds or anything. My local Verizon does. Selling it for 99$ but its all about marketing. But Verizon will. They just need to market the high end phones better.

Im not patient in the least.

I need the next Nexus. And if I gotta fly the coup to get it, I am.

I'm thinking about it. My contact is up in October. May give AT&T a try just so I can buy unlocked phones. I'll see though

I *think* Verizon will get another one. I think the sales have been pretty good, and the people in store speak pretty highly of it.

I was just at a Verizon store on Saturday picking up a GNex and they were sold out at the first store and sell out everytime they come in, and the second store only had a few left.

Google's message was pretty clear this week at I/O, to them it definitely is Nexus or bust. Hopefully Verizon will realize that as well.

I have no problem buying straight from Google and paying retail. I'll at least get to keep my unlimited data this way. I just hope they offer a CDMA variant next time.

Do you actually believe Verizon would allow this? Verizon will NOT see another Nexus.

Only reason I would leave Verizon would be due to them wiping ALL grandfathered unlimited plans off the board. No word of it so I'm not spreading rumors. Just a worse case scenario type thing. I'm happy with Verizon and my nexus...I've had quite a few devices. Nothing has come close to the true functionality of this device. I bought too many phones out of contract within the past couple years. I'm sticking with my nexus. It gets too costly buying the next big thing.

The question u should ask will there be a Nexus phone this fall? The only thing that the next Nexus phone will b is hardware. It will need to be above any thing on the market. Usually a Nexus phone is designed to test new os but that's not going to happen this time.
