Verizon brand screen protector

it only protects the screen i have on and im going to take it off and get invisible shield which will cover the entire face and to me its the best phone protector iv ever used.

Love the invisible shields, except the face/screen cut is the same slightly tacky material used for the rest of it and makes it hard to use the touch screen imo. When you get it tho, I am interested in seeing how it interferes with the desk and car cradles.

i got it today it doesnt effect the touch screen usage. i had it with my iphone i used to have and it never effected it i only got the screen and not the whole body because im going to get a seperate back case

Yup. I just got my phone 3 hours ago and let them talk me into the junk protector. I took it off already..
It does diminish the screen color and quality.

I was very unhappy with Verizon's screen protector and thought it was a complete waste of money at 14.99 for a pk of 3. I took mine off 2 minutes after I put it on as it completely diminishes the high quality screen of the Fascinate. Don't waste your money!! (at least on the Verizon brand) like others have noted....it has a "matte" finish to it that dulls the screen.

ordered the ez install from invisible shield. It covers the face and back but leaves the sides exposed. Figured that would have the least impact on the cradles while still keeping the case from getting too scratched up.

I have been running the Real Look protector for the past 2 weeks. Really happy so far. Make sure there is no (as in NONE) dust on the screen when you apply. I got lucky and only had a small particle near the edge. I would not want that in the center of the screen. It makes a bubble you can't get rid of.

The screen is silky smooth, just like stock. Only thing I could say bad is that it seems harder to remove the smears and oil that accumulate from a day or two of use. Other than that, I'm hard pressed to even know its there.

how did u remove it?

The verizon screen protectors are pretty stiff plastic, they come off real easy if you get a fingernail or something under one corner and just pull toward that corner.

To weigh in on the VZ screen protectors; there is a tiny bit of rainbowing when the screen is off and you hold the phone so you can see glare on the protector, it does glare a tiny bit more than the regular screen but when you are using the phone it's pretty much impossible to tell that its there. After hearing horror stories about deep scratches in the "gorilla glass" on the galaxy s due to accidental contact of keys, coins, etc. I am definitely keeping some sort of protector on the thing at all times. It would be nice if they had an edge-to-edge offering but this one will certainly do for now.

I picked up a package of screenguardz anti-glare for the Fascinate on amazon.com. Gorilla glass or not I still hate smudges. I have noticed one thing on both the captivate and fascinate screen protectors do not sit flush on the edges. Not sure what Samsung did to the glass but they seem curved up a bit.

Still its nice to have that extra protection, just in case.
