Some folks, like me, don't always come in the front door (home page), or visit other phone forums (I saw this in the rezound forum as well) so it can be helpfull for some folks to post news in the specific phone forum. Just trying to help spread the good news around Verizon confirming, thats all.....

Not that my phone needs ICS, would like to give a true ICS ROM/official release a try on my Bolt

I will more than like unroot my phone in order to get it....I don't think I could wait until the Dev's come out with one...but then again, maybe they will come out with one within a couple of days of the official release.................and the last horse just crossed the finish line!

I have been keeping the phone stock until the releases stop coming. My guess is this is probably the last major one. When I get bored of this one then I'll root

Wonder if any or the tether apps will be disabled with this update.

If it was anything like the gingerbread update wait....I wouldn't hold my breath. Just root your phone and play with some other roms until the ICS is released. I'm going to guess this thing gets released in October.

Sent from my rooted Galaxy Tab 8.9 running ICS 4.0.3

I'd say around June with a properly working one around October. No doubt the first release will be full of bugs, always is.
