Verizon Demo G3 won't stop trying to activate

Hey everyone quick question. We have a demo Verizon G3 where I work that won't stop trying to activate. We removed the SIM, however the activation wizard is constantly starting up and looking for a network. I've tried disabling the activation wizard however it still restarts. Anyone have any input for me on this?

Since it is a Verizon phone, it doesn't rely on a SIM card (CDMA technology). If you remove the SIM card (which is used for LTE/4G), the phone still would try to connect to the 2G network.

Since you said it is a demo unit, you could try putting it into airplane mode and then just enable Wi-Fi (if available). That probably will stop activation attempts.
