Personally, I was raised not to waste money, not my money, and not someone else's. It's wasting Verizon's money to buy a phone you don't need with the express intent to return it, and in my opinion that's morally questionable and childish. Now, if your current phone is inadequate (broken hardware, etc), or you are actually considering keeping the phone you buy, that's perfectly proper and responsible. They know that some people will return phones for one reason or another and they account for it, and it's a service that's greatly appreciated. In fact, that's exactly the point of the service. But abusing it for the sake of "Ha! Take THAT Verizon!" is childish and wrong, whether you work for them or not. Yeah, there's no law against being a jerk, but that doesn't mean I have to approve of people being jerks.
That doesn't mean I'm going to go on a rampage hate-fest preaching at everyone that does it, I just don't approve. And I sincerely hope noone here actually cares whether or not I, a random internet stranger, approve of their actions. Do what you're gonna do.
I was raised to save money too,but at the same time, i was also taught to get your money worth as well and not settle for less. I don't agree with people abusing the return policy but if you don't like it after a day or two, then i see no reason to keep it just to be morally right
In that case, it sounds like we actually agree and didn't even know it!There's a right time to use the service, definitely.
Dropping subject as requested, deepest apologies if any were offended.
Just a question on returning phones at VZW....
Say you were to get a Rezound and then return it, would VZW want the headphones back too after you have had them in your ears?
Seems like to me that alone would be worth the $35 perhaps

You have to return everything or you will be paying a lot more than a $35 restocking fee.
Am I the only one who feels as if it would be kind of wrong to get a new device, just so I can play with it.... knowing full well that my plan is to return it?
Isn't that just like the chicks that buy an expensive dress they can't afford, to wear it to an important event... but leave the tag on it so they can take it back?
It does sound tempting to take advantage of Verizon's policy, but I don't think I would feel good about it.

I feel like Verizon takes advantage of me, making me pay two times for my internet if I want to make my phone a, hotspot. I paid the 30 bucks for the internet package then they tell me I got.to pay thirty more to use it say on my tablet. I feel like Verizon is taking advantage of me their and that's monthly. I only get to take advantage of them once every two years in returning a phone and everyday cause I root my phone and don't pay to tether the internet I already paid for. Verizon is gonna throttle u anyway if u use too much.internet. I took advantage of that offer and grabbed a razor. I like it but .it gets really hot from time to time can't tell what its causing this cause I only had this phone for 19hrs.
This is crap. I bought the rezound on the 14th.
Best buys return policy is only 30 days.
