decided to wait and see if it shipped today and it did.....so i'll cross my fingers and hope it comes at a decent time on thursday. i'm thinking i may not preorder from here on out though. my s3 shipped a few days before release, but note 2 and now note 3 are arriving on the day of release so it would be more fun to be at the store johnny on the spot in the morning and lay hands on the new toy early. sitting around the house waiting will drive me crazy thursday!!

Maybe it shipped yesterday did you chk fedex? FedEx gave me info way before verizon. I called verizon twice yesterday and they said it was processing not shipped. An hr later fedex confirmed it was shipped 8am that morning

You will get refunded for the overnight charges. This happened to a lot of people.

If you pre ordered a VZW N3 prior to approx 9/25, and you dont have a tracking #, call VZW, as something is wrong. My understanding is that all pre orders prior to at least 9/25 have shipped for tomorrow delivery.

I would suggest you to make calls to both your credit card company and Verizon sale team.

What happened to me was I pre-ordered it on 10/6. I got a text from my credit card company (Chase) and asked me if I attempted to purchase an equipment from Verizonwireless on 10/7. I replied back Yes. Then I though Chase might approve it and let the transaction go through real soon.

Yesterday morning, I was curious why I haven't received a mail from Verizon. So, I made a phone call to Chase and make sure they did approve the payment. Surprisingly, Chase told me they did approve it, but I also have to contact Verizon and have them to re-submit the charge. Right after that, I called Verizon, the reps. helped me to resubmit the charge (7:30 AM). 4 hours later, I got shipment notice from Fedex.
 
I found my tracking info on the Verizon update page before I got the email from them. I signed up for updates on the Fed Ex site so I can stay in the know.
 
This morning Verizon charged my card but no email or change in processing yet. Does it take a while? How did you guys find out your FedEx tracking number? I tried the location#_order# (I added the zeros to make 9 digits) and FedEx said no such tracking exists.
 
Mine is currently waiting at Fedex in a container to be loaded tonight for delivery tomorrow, I tried seeing if I can pick up today but they won't unload it from the container until tonight.
 
Grrr. I Understand that the big date is 10/10. I was hoping that pre ordering would show a dedication to a product and would get me the device before a general in store stock date. Stupid thinking I suppose. My phone is within a mile of my house @ fedex. Looks by this, it may have been on the truck and then pulled off because it was not due for delivery.:

you will get an email saying "your order has shipped" and it will include you tracking number that you can click on and open the fedex tracking page.
 
I'm moving to Memphis & getting a job at FedEx ..... that should fix any future issues with VZW preorders & rollouts :D

Anybody here live in Memphis? Any family or friends at FedEx?

Looks like Verizon/Fedex agreed it won't go out until tomorrow regardless. Mine is very close and in a container with other packages as well that will not be loaded until tonight meaning they won't open the container until after closing hours of fedex

Did anyone get them today? Verizon release date is tmrw. So I doubt anyone got them today.
