Are you saying FedEx being a customer of Verizon or Verizon being a customer of Samsung? That's just it, they did store them for the note 7 last year. Amazing what they will do for a big customer of theirs. But since Verizon is upgrading shipping speed to overnight for a lot of us, I don't think that's going to happen this year. You won't see movement from Memphis until it gets put on the plane or truck to leave. Just be patient, I changed my thinking, I think we will see them Tuesday.
That's one of the benefits of pre-ordering...so you don't have to deal with the long wait at the store. They told me it had to go there.
If FedEx is showing movement and delivery dates, there's nothing left to be skeptical about.I remain skeptical of all those who are getting it on Tuesday. Phones are never delivered that far out from release day. I'm sure it'll be held in a warehouse somewhere until the 13th or 14th. The last phone I preordered, the S7 edge, I had it delivered the day before release day, and it sat in a warehouse for a week before delivery.

I'm saying with the note 7, fed ex picked them up, they were in Memphis and your local fed ex hubs waiting for future delivery dates. People were trying to pick them up at the local fed ex hubs and were being told no, they were future dated. So, I'm saying Verizon is a big customer of fed ex, so fed ex did store the note 7's for a week give or take. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that Verizon owns the warehouse that all these phones are sitting in. FedEx doesn't hold the phones, Verizon does. They put the FedEx labels on there, not FedEx.

I said note 7.My tracking number has shown movement from the hub in PA to another hub in NJ and it has it leaving the hub in NJ. So they are not just sitting in a hub. People will have them on the 5th.

The reason I think they are coming early this time, Verizon is upgrading shipping speeds to overnight shipping. Why upgrade the shipping if they are just going to hang out.Exactly, I remember this well. Note 7 owners, including myself that preordered, received tracking information almost two weeks prior to launch day. Then they sat in a FedEx warehouse somewhere for a week and a half. The estimated delivery day when the tracking number was tracked would get pushed up every couple days. Then on the original promised delivery date when the phone was preordered the phone was delivered. And verizon was giving the same exact answers that they are giving customers now.
It would be nice if things were different this time. I really doubt it and I hope I'm wrong. I really do hope people get their phones Tuesday.

That's all crap shoot, though. I've been in T-mobile many times with no line (just me) and it took 30 minutes or more. Pre-ordering also saves you from driving to a store and most likely get it a little earlier.I ordered a Note 7 at Best Buy last year on day one and there was no line at all.
Oh. I didn't know they started moving, then stopped. That's a lot of money to hold shipments like that.I'm saying with the note 7, fed ex picked them up, they were in Memphis and your local fed ex hubs waiting for future delivery dates.
