I have a question for those that pre ordered. How do we get the free gift they spoke of? I haven't gotten anything about which one I can pick or anything. I've already activated both phones and everything.

That would be me. Originally planned to order from BB due to the 100 dollars off, but wouldn't let me add a line during pre-order. When they fix that issue the phone was back ordered. Decided to order from Verizon when I heard they were waving upgrade and activation fee but then the 512 blue went out of stock there too. Check back the next day or so and it had a delivery date of 8/24 again. Long story short I hurried and ordered(8/16) and received phone yesterday.

Two Verizon chat reps inaccurately told me that my 512 GB Blue would ship tomorrow or Saturday. Turned out the real answer was 10/16. I cancelled the order, but blue was out of stock at Best Buy. Samsung could have shipped one week of 9/2 but I'm out of town and didn't want to chance it. So, I pre-ordered a purple 512 GB since those were still in stock at Verizon. I'll be putting it in a black case and returning my blue s-view cover. Not crazy about purple instead of blue, but figure I won't notice notice much if phone's in a case. I may order a different color S-pen to replace the in-box purple one though. Got a $45 bill credit from Verizon for my trouble. Worst pre-order experience ever and I let them know.

Definitely. I'm going to go on Verizon's website and see if they'll allow in-store pickup as an option sometime overnight.

Same experience with 3 stores in NJ and PA. Hence my switch to lavender purple

There are no lavender purple or ocean blue 512GB Note9s available for pickup in any of the Verizon retail stores in the state of Minnesota.

I canceled 2 orders... One from the morning of the 10th and another that was made on the 12th I believe. There was something weird about the first order because I tried to include the Zagg screen protector. The 2nd order was for a blue 512 GB but I had no confidence that I'd get it by the 24th based on the information Verizon was showing me. So I canceled on the 18th and ordered a lavender 512 GB and a lavender 128 GB for my wife. My 512 was delivered today (typing this message on it!) and my wife's will be in tomorrow.

Working hard at setting it up for the past several hours. I’m swiping like a madman and nothing is happening (so use to the iPhone X)

I think when I take out the pen is when I'll notice the most. Or when I write with it because the ink will default to purple. Anyway, my lavender purple 512 is on the truck for delivery today.
