Verizon: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

My co-workers two Note 9s arrived this morning. He pre-ordered last week using our companies Verizon Corporate account. $500 and BOGO so basically $250 a piece.

I played with it for a second while helping set it up to see how it differs from my Note 8. He's gonna enjoy that phone (He had a Note 7 and then a 7 Edge after the recall.
 
Me too, still waiting. And I have a 3:00appt. I did fill out the Shipment release form to leave on my front door and a picture of the Fedex status that says "indirect signature required", so hopefully that will work. (boo hoo)
 
Well jewels, how do you rate the blue color, to dark, darker then the expected.... It was darker then i expected under best buy's florescent lights.

Well....to be honest I like my deep sea blue color on my note8 better that's for sure. Really depends on the lighting I guess. Certain areas in house it looks lighter blue. If I go outside in the bright sun it is darker. Not to mention the sun reflecting off of phone blinded me lmao. All tho it's not my favorite shade of blue, it's blue and it's still nice looking. I notice more of the blue in my kitchen light. It's all good tho. The phone itself makes up for it. I just think it looked better in videos I've watched and in pictures.
 
FedEx was at the house next door. I was sad when they drove off.

They tried to deliver to my old address which I have changed multiple times and they left a door tag.....
Let's just say verizon called FedEx and they are attempting delivery to the correct address again before 8pm tonight
 
Mine is out for delivery. I won't be home from work until around 930ish, but I have someone to sign for it so my blue 128 will be waiting for me!

I got delivery at 2:29 pm. The next 7 or so hours need to hurry up so I can get home and unbox this beauty!
 
I posted yesterday that I was being told by the store that ordered my phone if it came in early I couldn't get it till Friday because the "official release date" is the 24. This morning I called Verizon and was told I could have the phone activated the moment I got it. Meaning if it arrived before the 24, all it would take is a call to Verizon and they would activate. Basically they told me there was no reason for the store to hold up my phone.

Anyway I'm about to test this when my phone arrives tomorrow for pickup. They'll have to show me in B&W where it says I can't have my phone, especially since Verizon doesn't seem to have an issue.

Well my phone is in, but the place I ordered it from won't let me pick it up till tomorrow, so tomorrow it is.

It wouldn't bother me if the sales person wasn't so vague when asked about picking it up early. I guess it's the ole say one thing to get the sale say something different after. Anyway not the end of the world, I'll just get it tomorrow.

It's supposed to be delivered today before 8pm. I'm stuck at work until late and fiance had to go schedule a 2 hour massage and pick up the kid. I'll probably miss the delivery today...ugh.

EDIT...and I did miss the delivery. Rescheduled tomorrow. If they would have let me come pick it up before work today or pick it up tomorrow, this would have been a lot easier.

I'm tired, they can leave a note if they want to I'm taking a nap, I left them a note so if they on their best behavior they'll follow it
