Verizon galaxy s5 root

Hi, I want to root my galaxy s5 from Verizon. I'm currently running Android 5.0 lollipop. I have found some ways online but they didn't work for me. Towelroot is one of them.

There's a way I saw on one of the forums at Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 5 - XDA Forums (Development. maybe). But it triggers Knox.

Towel Root won't work on any kernel dated later than June 2, 2014 (which basically means not even all versions of 4.4.2).

Nope. I never got it to work. I also tried Kingo Android Root and that didn't work either.
