Verizon Galaxy Update

Updated last night. Seems to be working fine. I had been planning on a reset afterwards so will do that today. Otherwise it feels a little snappier but no changes. Phone works fine. Wifi calling is nice.
 
updated yesterday and did a factory reset of my phone to go along with it. phone feels great but not sure if it's because of the reset or the update ;)
 
This is the error I see on my sgs5. The sgs7 shows an error that more specifically mentions connection as the issue.

It may be where you're trying to download it at. I tried checking for the update while I was at work and got this message. When I tried it at home on my wi-fi connection, it downloaded and installed with no problems. I like how it works so far. By the way, I'm in area code (812) -- Southwestern Indiana.

I updated yesterday afternoon. So far it is a bit snappier and I haven't had any of the long 5+ second delays and random unresponsiveness that were plaguing this phone on Lollipop. It's still got the typical Samsung lag and jank but probably about equivalent to when it was on KitKat, which is acceptable.
 
I am not sure how but the power up sound has gone away (yay) even when I am not in vibrate. the only sound I have off is media. Before no matter what I did the power up sound would play, definitely not complaining
Otherwise the upgrade has gone pretty good. Jury is still out in the battery usage but I have 2 almost 2 year old batteries that I swap out so they could be coming to the end of their useful lives
 
Got the update this afternoon and working my way through things..when I connect phone to PC via usb, computer doesn't find it. Do I need to update something on computer to go with the new phone software?
 
I'm here in Ohio. Nothing yet from Verizon for my S5. Waiting.........

I'm hoping the update will be available soon on Software Upgrade Assistant, Kies, or Smart Switch.

It is better

But it doesn't work with Samsung Good Lock unfortunately

They also have fixed the RAM management

I feel like my phone can finally breathe again....

Did the update then factory reset/wiped cache partition.

First impressions:
-camera now focuses correctly
-snappier, the phone feels faster
-haven't overheated at all today
-same annoying notifications (headphones going over max volume, Bluetooth toggle brings up Bluetooth devices/settings, etc)
-did my speakerphone improve? Not sure..
-WiFi calling - meh, I have great service anyway
-jury is still out on battery life...
-application manager - how do you know if an app resides on the SD card now? No way of moving that I can tell, yet 15GB of usage on my SD card so far

I'm just so happy we got 6.0.1, the last update we'll probably see...

Select the App you want to move > Press on Storage > If you're able to move it...should show "Store in" with a "Change" button...

Mojave .. what part of Ohio ? My wife's SGS5 updated lastnight to MM .. tonight, my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7" (on Verizon) is receiving MM .. downloading it as I'm typing.

Yup...more steps...I use AppMgr Pro III to move them...still one at a time but...it lets you know what can be moved...

Using AT&T in NY, still waiting.
Losing patience and hope.

Leaving country in a few weeks, if no update soon, I am leaving AT&T.
