Verizon GS3 is shipping..........SOON!!

I just noticed that the pending charge is no longer on my checking account. So I called Verizon and asked if that meant shipping of my phone was imminent, and they said YES!! I so can't wait!! Just letting you guys know.

I just saw there's now a pending charge on my bank account from Verizon...but that may just be the monthly bill cycle

I had a pending charge of $0.00, meaning they were checking to see that the account was good. It's been sitting on my account since I placed the order on June 8th, and now just today it's gone.

Thing is, that's the day we would lose our unlimited data (assuming you're grandfathered in as well). I'm hoping it comes in Tuesday or else I'm gonna have to order it from Verizon before Thursday and ordering Wednesday would be cutting it a little close. So hopefully its Monday/Tuesday, but who knows. Fingers crossed!

Yeah, I can attest to this too. However this happened to me a few days ago. I pre-ordered and noticed that I had a charge of $1.00 which I know they were just checking to see if my account was good. Much like a hotel authorization, for damages. I noticed that the charge was gone "credited back" to me. So let's hope!

Don't get your hopes up guys. You will not get the phone early. Never has happened in the past. It's easier if you just accept the wait, and prepare to wait even more.

So i have been a member here for two years and it seams like whenever a super phone is coming out we have same posts and threads up until we all finally get the phone in our grubby little hands.

BUT....

this forum has thousands of members and each of those members have friends and family. lets call it 2 million people (just a quick easy number) Now within 2 million people nobody has or is a person that works in any of multiple departments for the multiple carriers that have any real inside info on these things ?

I pre-ordered on 6/6 at 7am EST, the very moment they opened pre-orders.
As of 30 sec ago, there has been zero activity on my credit card.
A quick check with Verizon..everything is ok with my order & my card will be charged on the day it ships.

I don't understand why no one gets that it says "Ships by 7/10". "BY" BY It doesn't mean the phone will ship then, it will ship BY that date. If you want to wait longer, go right ahead. I plan on having this phone soon.

While it's certainly true that "by July 11" could mean any day up to and including July 11, based on past experience with Verizon they seem to bump right up against the latest day possible.

On the other hand, I will be happy to be wrong on this one, and next week open the door to FedEx delivering my GS3.
