This doesn't install a custom recovery does it? If not how do u install it? When I rooted dna touch cwm was installed in process and installed via pc. But not very familiar with adb.

No it doesn't install a recovery you need to do that after.
Download CWR here( I recommend using the touch) [RECOVERY] ClockworkMod Touch Recovery 6.0.4.3 - xda-developers
Move the file to your desk top
Reboot phone into hboot then fastboot
Connect phone and ADB "fastboot flash recovery (then drag and drop file here)" > Hit enter
