Verizon HTC One pictures

And I came from the Samsung GNex to the SGS4, I guess I'm just used to Sammy lol...This is my first HTC.

I hope you like the One, HTC left a bad taste in my mouth from previous phones, but I've always really liked the One. I'm still within my 14-day return period and might trade up...haha!

That's exactly what the screen reminds me of, the GNex. Of course it's an improvement but I don't know if I can past the tint.

You won't regret it! I'm loving the One right now, so worth the wait.:-$

Hey for you guys just buying the HTC One, check out the highlights in the photo gallery. Pretty awesome when you take a mixture of photos and zoe photos.

Anyone coming from an S4 to a One want to chime in about your switch? I have an S4 and I just bought a One. Haven't got it yet, so I'd like to hear any opinions.

What is it you are looking for with this switch? For me I needed something easier for one hand usage. Battery life on the one doesn't seem as good as my s4, but then again, I'm rooted and on a custom ROM on my s4.

You can't go wrong either way

Software features go to the s4
Hardware and fluity go to the one

I just always liked the One. Liked the way it looked, and Sense is a little less messy than TouchWiz. One hand usage is a plus, but I'm not sure about the battery life difference. I usually easily make it through a day on my S4. I've also heard that the One is a bit more fluid, little less stutter, which is also nice. I think the camera is also on par, so that's fine with me too.

I think the One is what you're looking for.
It is much much much more refined than the S4 or any other Samsung product for that matter, I love mine.

Can you post some pictures from the camera? I am really tempted to get this one and would like to see the camera quality. I see the Droid Maxx camera quality does not seem to be great and the other phone I am considering (928) appears to be quite good.

I am currently testing the HTC One and the Droid Maxx. The HTC One camera wins hands down. Motorola might be able to fix their camera with a software update but for right now there is no comparison. The Droid Maxx offers other pros over the One so it depends on whether you take a lot of pictures or not.

I had the 32GB S4. I returned it and picked up the One. There are Pros and Cons to both. I found the battery life much better on the S4 (much better standby time when screen was off than the One). The One display is crisper and slightly brighter. The speakers aren't louder on the One but sound better because they aren't on the back. The S4 wins on features hands down. Not many features on the One, I miss the notifications settings layout of the S4. I found the S4 camera to be better. The One has better sound for streaming music through Bluetooth or wired headphones. The S4 worked better with my Bluetooth car kit for making calls than the One. I liked having the wireless charging option on the S4. The S4 is slightly smaller than the One even though it has a larger display. The built in calendar, email and messaging apps are much more robust on the S4 (another thing I miss). Signal strength and call quality are about the same where I live. They are both great phones. If you need a lot of storage, go with the S4, if you like a more minimalist phone go with the One. I will probably look at the HTC One Max when it hits in the fall. It will have a larger screen and bigger battery. That is the one major Con that might kill my love for the One and that is battery life and poor standby battery life.

I returned the 928 a couple months ago just to hold out until the One arrived. Now I have it and am beyond excited about my decision.

I love showing off the fact that I have a Verizon 4G LTE device. I am not taking off the logos even if it took 2 seconds. People ***** and moan about VZW but I'm happy to be on their network and to have my phone branded by them. It's not obnoxious or anything. I looks clean and tight. It will be covered once my poetic case arrives but in the mean time.... I'll represent.

You said it my man. The Verizon/4G LTE logo are nicely displayed on the back, near the bottom. Covered up most of the time with your hand anyway. No branding on the front. Can't ask for more.

Again, nobody is complaining about the logos because they are "ashamed" of being with Verizon. Verizon is the best network in terms of coverage. People (including me) just prefer that CLEAN look that no logos provide.
