I have had Lookout for my security app and I was wondering if there is a better one or should I stay with lookout?

Unless you are installing "questionable" apps or they are from a "questionable" source, antivirus is not needed in an Android device. I have never used any type of antivirus and never had an issue. Most devs and people knowledgeable in Android think AV software is just a waste of system resources.

Well unfortunately I did install apps that were "threats" and we're immediately removed

To be honest, most things Android antivirus will find are false positives, but if you are serious about looking for something different, I would recommend Bitdefender Mobile Security Antivirus, Kaspersky Mobile Security, or Qihoo 360 Mobile Safe, or look at these recent articles:
