BMX, can you tell us if the LTE performance is on par or better than other Verizon's LTE smartphones, in particular latency and throughput?

The lte performance is on par with the Droid bionic as far as speed and latency. All these rumors of Lte issues were just that rumors. Been using it for months with nary a hiccup.
Panda, any feel for why Flacco forgot how to play football on Monday?
(off, track, but seriously, that was the worst hour of football I've ever seen... and I went to the Dolphins/Broncos game [Go Tebow!]).
BMX:
1) do the buttons hide for video playback?
2) how do you get them back if they do for video/ full screen games
3) Any new audio/video codecs supported?
Just to add to the release date confusion, here's two conflicting stories:

Each link is talking a different version, one CDMA and one GSM. Not necessarily releasing on the same day
The announcement about the Droid Bionic price drop is still showing a date of 11/10 for the Nexus and the Razor as 10/27. If it was delayed wouldn't that be updated? Are we looking at a 11/10 preorder day for the Nexus? I know the Razor is up for preorder today, but I haven't seen anything about a ship date yet?
You can buy the Bionic online at Amazon Wireless for $219. It's been that price for the past two weeks. And it was already $249 at my local Corporate Verizon store last Monday when I went in....
if you have twitter hit up @VZWNews or @Verizonwireless and let them know you want a release date. they issued a statement pretty quick when they were bombarded last week. not that they would give out a release date but any info at this stage is good.

Lets just hope worst case is the US gets it same day as Europe. I still hope for a 10th release.
I'm running out of patience. I was up for an upgrade in July. The GS2 never came and now the power button on my OG Droid is broke.

true it was a little dismissive but it did force a reaction which means they are listening....somewhat lol
This is kind of ridiculous. I hope they realize the longer they extend this the chance increases that potential sales could very easliy bleed to the Razr and the Rezound, and even the 4S. I know Verizon basically wins in any case, but you think Samsung and Google would want to get the ball rolling a little faster.
If I didnt want this so bad, Id probably go for a Rezound myself, its most likely gonna drop before the Nexus if the after the 17th for the US is true.
