I'm hoping so. I was expecting to get it for $249 because of my corporate discount also. I was able to get my Thunderbolt with 2 accessories for $249 instead of $299.

No, I'm taking another line's upgrade and giving the Thunderbolt to that other line. However, my account get's 25% off, plus discounts off of phones and accessories in the store.

Reports of the Galaxy Nexus already popped up in Radio Shacks cellebrite, Best Buys system, as well, a few weeks ago. Launch is imminent. When? Is anybodys guess. Yet again, it looks like we really are waiting on Verizon to put the wheels in motion, go figure.

I loved the Sizzler when I was a kid... Haven't seen one since.
There are some parts of Sense that are nice... but not worth the bloat. HTC is the only company who's skin is actually more functional. Motoblur and Touchwiz don't seem to add any features, just make them look different. For example, the stock HTC mail app allows pinch to zoom on html e-mails... I love that. The stock aosp email app doesn't allow that. The Touchwiz one was borked and if you were rooted, exposed your passwords in plaintext on the device.

MyVZW and VZWBackup *are* useful, though when using VZW as a carrier.

Edit: Dunno what the 3rd app might be.

Interesting. Bloat apps. locked down pre-root or Bloat apps. removed and stashed out of sight as an ICS feature.

Speaking only for myself it never bothered me that the bloat apps were installed on my Incredible. What bothered me was that they could not be turned off, not that they could not be removed.

That's pretty much true across the board. Majority of bloat hate is just due to the fact they continie to run in background processes eating up data, night & day, even if you killl em, they run anyway.

Sigh..... This is why the Rezound will sell more, because the average consumer sees the nice "polished" look of HTC Sense with all the fancy animations and things of that nature. Overall how was the feedback for it? Did a lot of people like the device? I would imagine they have both techies and average everyday consumers testing the device. Could obviously be wrong though.

I was wondering that also. There are a lot of things you can do to a pure Google phone to make it the way you like but, the average consumer doesn't know that so, I guess that's their point of testing.

I think you're reading too much into it. People are typically adverse to change. If someone is comfortable using Sense the will be uncomfortable using a new OS.

I don't know, I have a Thunderbolt and recently Sense has been getting stale to me. I'm getting excited about ICS.

Me too. And this horrible ass batt life blows. The Rezound will be just as bad. All it is is a dual core and have to admit awesome screen in a thunderbolt case. The 200 mah jump wil not be noticeable once that is factored in.
