I am pretty new here, don't know if this is placed in wrong area. I updated my LG G2 to KitKat recently, but have been getting horrible performance, from the battery and everything else. I was wondering if there were any fixes? If not, can someone bring me through a step by step on how to revert to jelly bean? I am not worried about data loss, everything is backed up. No riot or custom revocery either. Running 4.4.2 Stock. Thanks.

Have you done a factory restore after the update? It will fix most issues after an OTA.

I have several times, and the problems still persist. I'm getting horrible battery life, overheating, bad camera pixtures , lagyy system, etc.

Well i juust did a facory reset ten minutes before you posted. My battery stats need a few days, but i will revert to jelly bean if this cant be fixed

You need to contact your carrier and tell them that you've tried multiple FDRs. They'll fix/replace your phone.

... and yes, even if it's out of warranty, they'll fix/replace it if the update broke it.

Thank you all for your answers, but reverting back to jelly bean did nothing. I am skeptic about returning the phone for fear of getting a refurbished, or having to wait 3 weeks. Already went through 1 1/2 Months of no charger because the first one they sent was broke and they took 3 weeks to get the second replacement to me.

Well, I'm not sure how much further you can go without getting it replaced. I had problems with my first G2's hotspot. I called Verizon and they couldn't fix it, so they contacted LG and the LG tech couldn't fix it, so LG replaced it. IT was LG, not VZW for me. Now, it was still a refurbished unit, but I still use it today.
