Verizon LTE Down... AGAIN!

No 4g in Huntsville area either. Using CDMA only mode to get 3g. Just spoke to Verizon CSR and he informed me the ETA for 4g to be back up is 9 PM PST.

Looks like they hit the reboot button again in Colorado. Lost 3g.

Just left a Verizon store outside of Philly, Pa and the service tech embarrassingly confirmed the outage along with enterprise issues.

Seriously? I understand they want to roll out and get the network stabalized as quickly as possible, but can't they do it in the middle of the night? I understand that there will be hiccups and bumps given it's new technology, but they need to be smarter about their maintenance practices. Obviously given the responses in this thread, not everyone is as understanding as I am.

Anyone's phone dial *22338 or something by itself?

During the last outage my phone autodialed *22899. Haven't seen it do that so far today.

On a side note, these outages are becoming really tiresome. At least now when I see data out, I assume it's an outage rather than a problem with my phone. The first big outage in the spring was the day after I rooted and flashed a ROM on my Thunderbolt, and I thought I had screwed up my phone. Now, I know better. :)

No 3G or 4G here in southern New Hampshire either. Went down at about 10am. EST

I just bought my Galaxy Nexus yesterday (around five pm, yes, yes).

I was showing it to a friend today--No 4g, no 3g, and my GPS won't lock. My first thought was, "After spending $300+, I really hope this isn't some sort of a lemon."

So, in a way, I'm relieved. Slightly annoyed, but the phone's pretty legit. Here's hoping for a quick fix.

Edit: Cleveland, Ohio

Switching to 3g only and rebooting got my 3g data back. Now I can use my phone again. I don't like 4g being out, but I can live fine on 3g.

Out in Cincinnati, too. I wonder if we can sue Verizon for false advertisement. "Most reliable" my a$$....
