I have an s3 and I still have unlimited data would it be possible to take my sis card out of my s3 and put it in my tablet and get my unlimited data on my tablet?

I would consider doing this but I'm afraid Verizon would flag me and take away my unlimited data. If there's no risk of that, I would definitely buy the LTE Nexus 7.

Can't you root and tether?

Just use the S3 as a hotspot, don't bother with LTE in the N7. There is an app that will enable tethering on unrooted phones without the need for a tethering plan from Verizon, if you root the phone then you won't even need an app for tethering.
