It is posted all over the internet. If you want it and you are completely stock, you can download it to your sdcard, boot into recovery and apply the update from recovery. But don't do this if you don't know what you are doing. Just wait.

Re: moto x Verizon model 4.4.2

I tried doing this and every time I hit "Apply update from sdcard", it immediately says "Install from sdcard complete." It never gives me the option to select the zip file that I downloaded. Can anyone help?

if you really don't know what you're doing here's a link of completely how to do it

Re: moto x Verizon model 4.4.2

Updated from that link, everything worked as advertised.

I know they said it was a small update, but my phone seems blazing fast now. The glitch that showed the stock lockscreen after I unlock from active notifications is gone thankfully. Also, all my disabled verizon bloatware didn't enable itself like it did when I got the OTA for 4.4 initially.

Coincidently, as soon as my phone rebooted, I got an email about the soak test... lol.

Is your phone encrypted like mine? Same thing happens when I do it and I think it has to do with encryption. Which makes sense since you shouldn't be able to access your sdcard unless you enter your password.

Yup. My phone is encrypted. Thanks for your help.

Updated mine this morning. Battery life is supposedly improved from what I've read but I'll give it a few days.

I don't know, I got my phone off contact from Motorola, don't know if that matters. but I do not have a developer device and when I tried the install it just allowed me to choose which file to install

Reminder: it's a rollout. Periods of push until we end at pull.

Is that why pull doesn't work and that OTA will be pushed to all (in chunks)
before pull is available..i.e. I need to be patient? ;-)
