My Nexus 6P with the AndroidN beta originally connected fine with my Verizon Network extender, but then didn't. I went into Cellular settings, network and found that the phone had switched to Global and had added enhanced LTE for voice. I didn't change these settings. Annoying that they changed. I switched to LTE/CDMA and turned off the LTE for advanced voice and now it connects fine to my network extender. Weird. I don't like settings changing on their own. Doze?

That's weird. I downloaded the N beta yesterday. Just checked my network setting, and they didn't change. Don't know how or why that changed for you.

If your using a 3G extender, download the app Network Mode. When your home using the extender, for the mode to CDMA Auto PRL and it will stay connected. The only downside is that when you leave your home and you want 4G back, you have to change it back. I bought a 4G network extender from Verizon and it's gives me LTE all the time and like 3x the range
