Verizon New (APD2) Update / Battery Life Impact?

Verizon just released the APD2 update, no mention in release notes about battery life (only stupid things like "SIM Card no Inserted Warning"). The prior Sprint and T-Mobile updates eliminated the System OS battery drain issue, but no word in the release notes about it (also not sure what the size of this update is, but it downloaded very quickly).

Anyone experienced any improvements here?

Still to early to determine battery impact.

But, the updates appears to install DTignite, which is bloatware. Luckily, you can go to setting/apps, and disable it.

This nonsense with DT Ignite needs to stop. Carriers are getting a bit out of hand trying to push software.

So far, on mine its looking like close to 2x the on screen time for the same runtime (for me that is 4hrs SOT over 17hrs).

My battery time was better today. 20h, 33m, 3s on battery. 13% remaining.

I'm more concerned with this - I used the adb instructions that were out to enable adoptable storage. It works great and I'm happy with the results. Will this update break that?

A day after the update my battery life is slightly better. There is more parity in battery use between the system and screen. Before it was always system on top. I ended the day yesterday with about 10% more battery life than I'm used to. I'm happy with the update.

Just be sure to disable the DTIgnite malware. Which other carriers use this besides Verizon? I know T-Mobile does, too.

So my first full day test after update put me at 19% left after 18 hrs and 2 hrs SOT. Typically would have been out of battery well before this point. Standby drain in general is much improved, doze kicking in more frequently - the battery graph more clearly shows active and inactive periods. Android System is still top condumption. However my screen on drain is still high, 15%/hr or more.
